TYPE III BARRICADE

NCHRP-350 Certified with and without lights.

 

The Type III Barricade utilizes all plastic panels that are mounted to wood, metal or plastic uprights. 

 

Accomodates flashing barricade light.

 

Panels are 8" wide X 96" long with factory-applied reflective sheeting that provides clear directions to passing motorists. 

 

Choose from Engineer Grade, Super Engineer Grade or High Intensity reflective sheeting.

 

Barricade sheeting has alternating orange and white or red and white stripes running diagonally across the sheeting at an angle of 45 degrees.

 

Barricades with stripes beginning at the upper right side and sloping downward to the lower left side are designated as right (R) barricades.  Right barricades are placed on the right side of the road and are designed to move traffic to the left.

 

Barricade stripes beginning at the upper left side and sloping downward to the right side are to be designated as left (L) barricades.  Left barricades are placed on the left side of the road to move traffic to the right.

 

One person is all that is required for complete set-up or tear down.  The interchangeable parts speed repair of damaged units and shortens turnaround time.
